Licensed and insured. Every Platinum Rides vehicle carries full commercial insurance and every chauffeur holds a valid Ontario G licence and has passed a background check. We are not a rideshare app dispatching whoever is available. These are employed professionals whose sole responsibility on prom night is the safe and professional transportation of your children.

No alcohol policy. Platinum Rides enforces a strict no-alcohol policy on all prom bookings. Sparkling juice, soft drinks, and water are included on board. Alcohol is not served on prom bookings regardless of the age of the passengers. This is non-negotiable and is confirmed in writing at the time of booking.

You know who the chauffeur is before the vehicle arrives. Every booking confirmation includes the chauffeur’s name and a direct contact number. Parents can reach the chauffeur directly throughout the evening. The chauffeur’s contact details are shared before the vehicle leaves for the first pickup.

We own the vehicles and employ the chauffeurs. We do not subcontract prom bookings to third-party operators. The vehicle in the booking confirmation is the vehicle at the door. Step 1 — Count your group. Before you call, confirm exactly how many students are in the group. This determines the right vehicle and prevents the most common problem — a group that grows after booking and no longer fits the vehicle.

Step 3 — Confirm with a deposit. A deposit secures the vehicle exclusively for your date. Without a deposit, the vehicle remains available to other groups. Do not assume the vehicle is held based on a phone inquiry alone.

Step 4 — Coordinate pickups before the night. A week before prom, provide the full pickup address list and the agreed sequence. Your chauffeur will have the complete route before arriving at the first address.
