Toronto Charter Bus Rental for Groups of 22 to 27

This is one of the busiest vehicles in our charter fleet. It sits in that sweet spot between the 23-passenger (which gets crowded once you add checked luggage for a corporate group) and the 56-passenger coach (overkill unless you’re moving 35 people or more).

A typical week looks like this. Monday morning, 24 executives need to get from a Bay Street office to Terminal 1 at Pearson for a 9 AM flight to Calgary. Tuesday, a continuous shuttle loop between a downtown hotel and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for the second day of a conference. Thursday, picking up 26 wedding guests from the Fairmont Royal York and running them out to a Niagara-on-the-Lake winery for a Friday afternoon ceremony. Saturday morning, 23 friends heading down to Buffalo for a Bills home game with the return run the same night.

We’ve been running this vehicle since 2013. Forward-facing seats in rows, so people can work or sleep on the way. Climate control, reading lights, USB at every seat, overhead bins for carry-ons, and a proper luggage bay underneath. The cabin is built like a small highway coach, not a converted party van. It does short GTA hops the same way it does 6-to-8-hour drives to Montreal or NYC.

Every trip comes with a chauffeur. Platinum Rides has never been a self-drive operator. The drivers know the routes that matter for this vehicle. The cross-border crossings at Peace Bridge in Fort Erie and Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, the timing on the 401 to Montreal, the Pearson commercial vehicle staging areas, and the parking situations at the major Toronto hotels. Flight monitoring is automatic on airport pickups, so the driver is at the curb when the flight actually lands, not when it was scheduled.

Pricing is flat-rate. $275 an hour with a 4-hour minimum inside the GTA. Out-of-town and cross-border trips are quoted per route. No per-mile surcharges, no fuel additions, no zone charges.

How Groups Use the 27-Passenger

Corporate charter bus Toronto, conference shuttles, off-sites, airport transfers

This is the heaviest use of the vehicle. Most bookings are 22 to 27 colleagues moving together for a conference, sales off-site, training day, or annual general meeting. The standard examples are a Bay Street office shuttling to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for the duration of a 3-day conference, a downtown hotel run to the Beanfield Centre for a trade show, an InterContinental Toronto pickup heading to a Mississauga corporate campus, or a Friday-to-Sunday sales retreat in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Corporate accounts get billed flat-rate per day.

We also handle ongoing employee shuttle routes (daily team transport between two locations) and one-off executive charters like client roadshows and investor days. Conference season (May to June and November to January) fills up earliest, so book ahead.

Pearson airport shuttle and group airport transportation Toronto

This is our most-booked vehicle for groups of 22 to 27 going to or from the airport. Toronto Pearson (YYZ) is the standard. We also serve Billy Bishop (YTZ) and Hamilton International (YHM).

A typical airport booking is an international corporate group arriving at Pearson and going straight to a downtown hotel, a sports team flying in for a Toronto game, a wedding party flying in from Vancouver and continuing out to a Niagara venue, or a business delegation arriving on a single flight for a multi-day conference. The luggage bay underneath holds checked bags for the whole group, so nothing has to take up cabin space. Flight monitoring is automatic, so the driver shows up at the actual landing time.

Intercity bus Toronto: Ottawa, Montreal, Niagara, Kingston, London

For trips outside the GTA, this vehicle handles long-distance Ontario and Quebec routes comfortably. Ottawa is a 4-hour drive each way, common for government and corporate travel, university trips, and hockey games at the Canadian Tire Centre. Montreal is 6 hours, common for corporate group travel, university transport, and milestone weekend trips. Niagara Falls is one of our most-booked routes, mostly tourist groups, wedding parties, and corporate day trips. We also run Kingston for Queen’s University and London for Western University.

Cross-border charter bus to the United States

Steady year-round category. The standard routes:

  • Toronto to Buffalo (2 hours, Peace Bridge): Bills games, Sabres games, shopping trips, weekend visits
  • Toronto to New York City (8 hours): weekend trips, concerts, corporate travel
  • Toronto to Detroit (4 hours, Detroit-Windsor Tunnel): Red Wings and Lions games, Michigan business travel
  • Toronto to Cleveland (5 hours): sporting events and weekend trips

The driver handles the border crossing logistics, with group documentation pre-coordinated before departure. All passengers need valid passports or NEXUS cards for the crossing. Flat-rate locked before departure, no zone surcharges, no toll add-ons.

Wedding guest shuttle, wedding shuttle Toronto, and wedding transportation

For weddings, this is the vehicle we use for the out-of-town guest contingent. That means the part of the family staying at a single hotel, or a larger bridal party that won’t fit comfortably in the 23-passenger. The booking runs continuous loops between the hotel block and the venue across the wedding day, covering ceremony arrival, cocktail hour, reception, and the late-night return. Standard venues include Casa Loma, Liberty Grand, the ROM, Berkeley Church, Steam Whistle Brewery, Evergreen Brick Works, Hotel X Toronto, and every winery and inn across Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Event transportation for sports, concerts, and group outings

Sports bookings are heaviest fall through spring. Scotiabank Arena for Maple Leafs and Raptors games, Rogers Centre for Blue Jays and stadium concerts, BMO Field for Toronto FC. Cross-border sports trips to KeyBank Center (Sabres), Highmark Stadium (Bills), and Little Caesars Arena (Red Wings). Concert bookings cover Budweiser Stage, History, Massey Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, and the Rebel Entertainment Complex.

Which Size Do You Need?

Three forward-facing sizes in our charter fleet. Pick the one that fits with a small margin for luggage and comfort:

  • 14-Passenger Mercedes Sprinter (10 to 14 guests): Premium executive shuttle for smaller groups
  • 23-Passenger Mini-Coach (18 to 23 guests): Forward-facing charter from $250/hour
  • 27-Passenger Mini-Coach (22 to 27 guests): From $275/hour
  • 56-Passenger Highway Coach (35 to 56 guests): Onboard toilet and dedicated luggage bay. Canada-only routing

If your group fits in the 23 with luggage, the 23 is cheaper. If you’ve got 28 or more, the 56 makes sense. The 27 is for that 22 to 27 range where you need more room than the 23 but a full coach is overkill.

Charter Bus Service Toronto, Shuttle Bus Toronto, and the GTA
